Juvé & Camps aims to redefine sparkling rosé
Juvé & Camps Reserva de la Familia Rosé combines a brut nature style with extended ageing, complemented by the freshness and vitality of Spain’s Penedès grape varieties.

Situated in the picturesque wine-producing region of Penedès, near Barcelona, Juvé & Camps manages its vineyards organically, integrating them with the surrounding forests and hedgerows. At the heart of the winery’s ethos lies biodiversity and the promotion of natural balance.
Reserva de la Familia Rosé Grand Reserva Brut Nature was created as a rosé reinterpretation of Juvé & Camps’ signature label. It stands as a tribute to tradition with a daring touch that aims to challenge convention, as Meritxell Juvé, CEO of Juvé & Camps, and fourth generation of the family, explains: “Reserva de la Familia Rosé is a new vision of our history, the rosé reinterpretation of Juvé & Camps’ most iconic sparkling wine.”
The distinctive character and versatility of the sparkling rosé come from the Xarel-lo grape, a white variety grown at the winery’s Espiells estate. According to Juvé & Camps, Xarel-lo embodies the essence of the Penedès region and contributes to the wine’s potential for extended ageing and elegance. Pinot Noir from Espiells complements the cuvée, adding structure and complexity, while a small percentage of Garnacha from Mediona brings refreshing notes of red fruit.
Aged for a minimum of 30 months on its lees, the wine showcases a vibrant, fresh, and well-balanced character, accentuated by pleasant acidity and a saline finish. On the nose, it offers a blend of wild strawberry, subtle rose petals, and freshly baked bread. The palate is lively and refreshing, featuring crisp, finely integrated bubbles.

The cuvée not only showcases tradition and terroir but also embodies Juvé & Camps’ spirit of innovation and nonconformity while maintaining deep respect for traditions established over generations.
At Barcelona Wine Week 2026, taking place from 2 to 4 February, Juvé & Camps will showcase its diverse range of wines at Stand C51 in Pavilion 8. It will also showcase Juvé & Camps Reserva de la Familia Rosé in a masterclass at the show, entitled ‘Exploring Contemporary Spanish Rosé’, on Monday 2 February at 3pm.
