the drinks business is pleased to announce that entries are now open for The Global Chenin Blanc Masters 2025, a competition dedicated to celebrating the full potential of one of the world’s most adaptable grape varieties.

From crisp crémants and elegant dry whites to rich barrel-aged expressions and luscious sweet wines, Chenin Blanc is renowned for its versatility. This competition will welcome all styles, featuring classic examples from South Africa and the Loire Valley, as well as uncovering top-quality wines from lesser-known regions.

Open to any varietal Chenin Blanc or blends containing at least 50% Chenin Blanc, this competition invites entries from all over the world. Each wine will be judged in a blind tasting by an expert panel made up of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior buyers.

Medals will be awarded from Bronze through to Gold, with only the most exceptional wines receiving the prestigious Master accolade. All results will be published in the drinks business magazine and website, offering valuable exposure and a powerful marketing tool.
