ViniSud and VinoVision to be held together in 2019

Two large French wine exhibitions, ViniSud and VinoVision, are to be held together at the same venue in Paris in 2019, finally giving the French capital the major wine show it currently lacks.

Normally held in Montpellier, the ViniSud show that focuses on wines from the Mediterranean will exchange its Languedoc location for Paris alongside the newer VinoVision show (that was founded recently to showcase the wines from the cooler north and east of France) in odd-numbered years.

The two exhibitions will remain distinct but when held together in Paris both will take place at the Porte de Versailles on the same dates (10-12 February).

Organisers Comexposium explained in a press release:

“Joint organising the two exhibitions in Paris in 2019, in the same venue in two separate halls and at the same time, is in direct response to the needs of both buyers and exhibitors.

“In the wine calendar February is the most suitable time for buying and presenting quality wines.

“ViniSud will continue to be held in Montpellier in even years, immediately after VinoVision Paris.

“In 2018, then in 2019, the combination of VinoVision Paris, WWm Global Paris and ViniSud will usher in the ‘Wine Week’ that France has been lacking.”
