Wolf stolen in drunken prank
A stuffed Arctic wolf worth over £30,000 has been stolen from a Chelsea house in what is thought to be a “drunken prank”.
Police are hunting three men in their 20s who are thought to have walked off with the six-foot long taxiderm in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The trio had been at a house party in the West London borough and left at roughly 5am. The occupants of the house only realised the wolf was gone several hours later.
Described as a drunken “jape” rather than a theft, the wolf is estimated to be worth some £32,000 and police are appealing for its return or information that will lead to its reappearance.
