Boujis hits Hong Kong

The Ignite Group has confirmed plans for the launch of Boujis Hong Kong this September.

The club’s opening on Pottinger Street will coincide with the 10th anniversary of Boujis’ luxury London flagship and royal hang out in South Kensington.

Intended as a “home from home” for its regulars, Boujis Hong Kong will feature a new British inspired “twilight” food menu, available in the bar from 6pm until midnight. Meanwhile top mixologists will serve a “succinct but diverse” list of cocktails, including the club’s famous Crack Baby shot.

At the same time as its Boujis Hong Kong opening, Ignite will launch a new, exclusive international membership service, which will offer access to the group’s venues and pop-up destinations.

Recent initiatives include an event at Battersea Power Station in London, a Fashion Week party tie-in with Roberto Cavalli, the Boujis Bentley Party and its annual summer event in Ibiza.

Matt Hermer, CEO of Ignite said: ”We are keen to establish the Boujis brand outside the UK; Hong Kong is such an incredible city – a gateway to the East, so we are thrilled to kick off our plans for international growth there.”

Hinting that this launch of Bouji’s Hong Kong marks the start of further expansion plans for the group, Ignite’s co-founder and CFO Paul Deeming added: “We certainly won’t be leaving it for another 10 years before opening our third Boujis site.”
