Shoreditch a Glo Glo
Glo Glo’s, a new bar-focused venue from London restaurateur Will Ricker, has opened in Shoreditch.
Hannah Lanfear, one of London’s few female mixologists, has put together a list of classic and original cocktails. These include the Silver Bullet Train, made from oak-smoked Chase vodka and olives or, for the more daring, the Nippon Float: a mix of genever, cream, Velvet Falernum, honey syrup and egg yolk.
Glo Glo’s is looking to stand out from the Shoreditch crowd with its robata grill which serves up fresh Tokyo street food. Snacks include chestnut mushrooms with soy butter, baby aubergine with chilli miso and chives, and beef fillet with bulgogi glaze.
Located on Great Eastern Street, directly below Ricker’s Great Eastern Dining Room, Glo Glo’s is the latest addition to a portfolio which includes E&O, Eight Over Eight, XO To Go and Cicada.
