UK bars unite for month-long Paloma celebration

More than 100 bars across 10 UK cities will serve up over 250 variations of the Paloma this May, as a nationwide takeover spotlights the classic cocktail.

Three Cents, Tequila Ocho and CleanCo have teamed up to launch a month-long nationwide celebration of the Paloma, with more than 100 bars across the UK taking part.

Running from 1–31 May 2026, the initiative will see venues across 10 cities introduce limited-edition Paloma menus, alongside promotional offers and prize opportunities.

Bartenders put their spin on the Paloma

Participating venues will include a mix of established and emerging bartenders, each curating their own take on the serve. In total, more than 250 variations of the Paloma will be available nationwide throughout the month.

London venues taking part include The Coral Room, Discount Suit Company, Warehaus and The Aubrey, as well as Brother Marcus sites.

Outside the capital, participating venues include VOYA, Dos Dedos, Bunny Jackson’s, Uno Mas, The Absent Ear and sites within the Mother Mercy Group in Newcastle.

No and low addition

New for 2026 is the inclusion of CleanCo T, an alcohol-free agave-inspired spirit designed to be used in a classic Paloma serve. All participating venues will offer a Clean T Paloma as part of their menus.

Three Cents’ Pink Grapefruit Soda, described as the first of its kind outside Mexico, will also feature prominently, while Tequila Ocho positions the Paloma as a showcase for its agave-led profile.

World Paloma Day

The programme will also spotlight World Paloma Day, with participating venues offering additional promotions on 22 May.

George Bagos, general manager and co-founder of Three Cents, said: “Our signature serve is the mighty Paloma, so we’re excited to be celebrating its brilliance throughout May – one day just isn’t enough! Whether you’re a purist or wanting to discover a new take, bars across the UK will be offering bespoke menus dedicated to Mexico’s most loved serve. The goal at Three Cents has always been to open up creativity with bartenders and the Paloma month offers just that, bringing together Britain’s most exciting mixologists to show their best”

Jesse Estes, Tequila Ocho global brand ambassador, added: “Paloma Month is about more than just celebrating a delicious classic cocktail, it’s about giving bartenders the space to experiment, reinterpret, and surprise. We’re excited to see how each venue brings their own perspective to such an iconic serve. Tequila Ocho has always inspired creativity, and we see Paloma Month as a chance to take that even further; celebrating the heritage of the Paloma while exploring what it can become in the hands of today’s bar industry professionals.”
