Puklavec Family Wines launches sustainable wine in Europe
Slovenian winemaker Puklavec Family Wines has teamed up with a packaging firm and European restaurant association to launch Trois Femmes, a wine made by women and underscored by a commitment to sustainability.

Puklavec Family Wines, a producer with more than 80 years of winemaking tradition, has partnered with eco-packaging firm Vaider and hospitality network JRE-Jeunes Restaurateurs, to produce the wine, Trois Femmes.
The collaboration combines traditional winemaking with modern, lower-carbon packaging. Vaider’s fully carbon-neutral wine bottle, which organisers say significantly reduces the product’s overall footprint, is a key component of the project.
Female sommeliers from across Europe worked together to create the blend, which was officially unveiled on 20 April at the JRE Congress Cologne, an annual gathering of chefs and hospitality professionals focused on the future of fine dining.

Women working together
Three members of JRE — Nina Bratovž of JB Restaurant in Slovenia, Katharina Röder of Burg Flamersheim in Germany, and Bethany Delong of Restaurant ONE in the Netherlands — worked alongside the winery throughout the winemaking process.
Tatjana Puklavec of Puklavec Family Wines: “Trois Femmes is the expression of women working as one, united in sharing knowledge and determination to create something truly exceptional”.
Trois Femmes will be available from May 2026 in selected JRE-affiliated restaurants across Europe, giving diners access to a product positioned at the intersection of craftsmanship, collaboration and sustainability.
