A vintage shaped by precision

At Château Sainte Marguerite, the 2025 winegrowing year was marked by a rain-filled spring followed by a radiant summer, resulting in accelerated grape ripening. As maturity levels converged over a short period, the estate harvested each plot at its optimal moment to preserve aromatic purity.

Harvesting took place at night to benefit from cooler temperatures and maintain the freshness that defines the estate’s style.

According to Olivier Fayard, winemaker and CEO, the 2025 vintage was “a true exercise in precision”. With a concentrated harvest window, picking required responsiveness, rigour and perfect coordination. Thanks to the team’s expertise and the benefits of massal selection, the estate says the full richness of the terroir is reflected in wines that express both freshness and harmony.

In what the estate describes as a generous vintage, its organic viticulture approach once again proved its relevance. The estate states that this enabled the production of grapes of impeccable sanitary quality while preserving nature and those who work the vines. The wines are said to reveal a refined aromatic palette, vibrant freshness and notable balance.

Three expressions of the house style

Produced from the 2025 harvest, the collection continues the house style established over nearly 50 years.

Symphonie Rosé 2025 Cru Classé Côtes de Provence shows notes of white peach and citrus zest. The estate describes it as fresh and balanced, suited to aperitif occasions as well as shellfish or sushi pairings, and reflective of the La Londe and Pierrefeu terroirs.

Fantastique Rosé 2025 Cru Classé Côtes de Provence is crafted from grapes sourced from the estate’s old vines on historic plots. The fruit is carefully selected and vinified to produce what the house describes as a rosé of great elegance. The 2025 vintage displays aromas of white peach, citrus and pear and is positioned for fine dining, with suggested pairings including truffle risotto or pan-seared scallops.

Fantastique Rosé 2025 Cru Classé is recommended by Raimonds Tomsons, World’s Best Sommelier 2023 and Friend of the House. The estate says this collaboration reflects confidence in Château Sainte Marguerite and celebrates the singularity of the cuvée.

Marguerites en Provence Rosé 2025 Cru Classé Côtes de Provence is produced in a limited edition of 15,000 bottles. The wine stands out for its elegance, intensity and minerality, with aromas balancing citrus notes, tropical fruits and white flowers, supported by mineral freshness and a long finish. It is positioned for haute gastronomy, with suggested pairings including citrus-infused sea bream tartare, roasted langoustines or lobster ravioli.

Nearly five decades of development

The story of Château Sainte Marguerite began in 1977, when Brigitte and Jean-Pierre Fayard acquired a Côtes de Provence cru classé property in La Londe. The estate received Ecocert certification in 2003 and guarantees 100% organic production. It is also registered with the Vegan Society.

Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle are planted according to soil type and plot orientation. The estate highlights the use of massal selection, describing the practice as rare in Provence and central to preserving the genetic heritage of its highest-quality vines.

Today, the four Fayard children are involved in managing the estate. In 2022, the Fayard family joined forces with the Pernod Ricard group to continue the development of Château Sainte Marguerite in France and internationally.
