Zamora Company to distribute Bottega sparkling wines in Spain
A new alliance sees Zamora Company Iberia become the exclusive distributor for the Italian producer’s premium fizz in Spain and Andorra, with Bottega determined to delight “the most demanding palates” on the peninsular.

Zamora Company, which owns wine brands including Ramon Bilbao, Mar de Frades and Cruz de Alba, has signed a deal with Italian producer Bottega SPA to distribute its Bottega Gold and Bottega 0 ranges throughout Spain.
According to Zamora, the partnership reinforces the Spanish firm’s “commitment to premium sparkling wines and healthy consumption trends.”
The deal comes after “actively listening to consumers”, with Carlos Gallego, director of the Iberia Cluster at Zamora, saying: “We are very pleased with the agreement reached with Bottega SPA, which allows us to complete our sparkling wine offering with a world-renowned brand.”

Important Spanish market
As for Bottega, president Sandro Bottega added that the alliance brings together two businesses with “a strong family character” and impressive sustainability credentials. Crediting Zamora’s “experience and reach” (Zamora is present in more than 80 countries and has a team of more than 580 people with an annual turnover of €260 million), he emphasised the importance of the Spanish market. “Spain is a country with a great wine culture and a key sector for tourism; our goal is to delight the most demanding palates with the elegance of our Prosecco and the innovation of our Bottega 0.”
Founded in 1977, Bottega SPA is currently run by the family’s third generation. Based in Bibano di Godega, around 50 km north of Venice, it produces barrique-aged grappa, wines and liqueurs and recently celebrated the recognition of Italian cuisine by Unesco in December 2025. “Italian cuisine never bores, thanks to its almost infinite range of gastronomic offerings,” Sandro Bottega told db. “It is a cuisine that has found an irreplaceable companion in wine, to be enjoyed in moderation to fully appreciate the combinations that satisfy the palate, making the time spent at the table a memorable experience.”
Zamora Company is a 100% family-owned Spanish producer with almost 80 years of history. In addition to its own wine and spirits brands it also looks after the distribution for brands including Champagne Pommery, Tito’s Vodka and Tequila Don Ramón. Last year saw Zamora acquire a majority stake in Godeval, a pioneer in crafting white wines from Spanish grape Godello.
