The Indian Brewery Company is set to expand into Birmingham airport as part of a move that sees the business partnering with travel hub hospitality operator TRGC.

The Indian Brewery Company is set to expand into Birmingham airport as part of a move that sees the business partnering with travel hub hospitality operator TRGC.

The new site for the Birmingham-based independent beer business will see it serving up its range of brews to travellers to enjoy alongside desi food.

Mango beer and paneer toasties

Beers from the portfolio such as Juicy Mango Pale Ale and Pekok Lager which will be available on tap and paired with Indian pizzas and breakfast naan sandwiches.

Passengers flying through Birmingham airport will be able to begin their journey with bacon, sausage and cheese naan sandwiches as well as a new selection of toasties and sides including butter paneer toasties and cheesy masala wedges.

The airport venue will be The Indian Brewery Company’s third location and represents a significant milestone for business, which has built its reputation on locally-brewed beers in the heart of the city.

TRGC CEO Jon Knight said: “This much-loved Birmingham brand continues to build real momentum, and we are proud to be part of that journey. Set within a bespoke space in the airport’s flight departure area, guests will be able to enjoy Indian Brewery’s delicious food menu and award-winning craft beers, paired with TRGC’s signature service, a combination we are confident will be a great success.”

Birmingham airport commercial director Richard Gill explained: “As the undisputed home of the curry capital, our region is often celebrated for its culinary contributions and thriving vibrant food scene. With a tailored travel menu of award-winning craft beers and innovative Indian fusion menu, the arrival of The Indian Brewery taps into this growing local hospitality scene and further diversifies our dining options for passengers as we continue to experience record growth at the airport.”

The Indian Brewery CEO Jaspal Purewal added: “We are super excited to be opening in Birmingham airport, creating more jobs and helping towards shining the light on Birmingham.
