Top 10 drinks launches from November

From limited-edition Champagne cases to new beer flavours, db rounds up 10 new products that caught our eye this month. 

1. BREAD & BUTTER CHARDONNAY

Bread & Butter Wines has launched its first lower-alcohol Chardonnay in the UK, following strong sales in the US. Chardonnay Sliced (9% ABV) retains the brand’s signature buttery, oaky style, with only 85 calories per 125ml serving. Created by winemaker Linda Trotta, it shows tropical fruit, almond and vanilla notes, with a smooth finish. Part of the ‘Don’t Overthink It’ campaign, the release targets health-conscious younger consumers seeking lighter styles. 2. PIPER-HEIDSIECK CODE ROUGE

Piper-Heidsieck has launched Code Rouge Edition, a limited-edition release of its signature Cuvée Brut presented in a red-and-gold case
shaped like a vintage fire extinguisher. Finished with polished gold detailing and the playful message “In case of Champagne emergency, break open case”, the design is said to capture the house’s bold and celebratory spirit. Inside is Piper-Heidsieck’s Cuvée Brut, a blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay from over 100 crus across Champagne. 3. BODEGA NORTON 130 AÑOS

Argentine wine group Bodega Norton is marking its 130th anniversary with the release of Norton 130 Años, an ultra-limited-edition Malbec with only 2,000 magnums available worldwide. Crafted from a selective harvest of Parcel No. 3 at Finca Agrelo, the wine celebrates Argentina’s oldest winery in Luján de Cuyo and its enduring craftsmanship. The Malbec shows deep colour, smooth texture and vibrant red fruit aromas with elegant complexity. Hand-harvested grapes were aged for 12 months in new French oak before being bottled, unfiltered and unfiltered, to preserve authenticity and ageing potential. 4. BONFILS PIC SAINT-LOUP 2022

Bonfils has released its latest Pic Saint-Loup red, sourced from vineyards north of Montpellier between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean. The terroir’s PDO status and contrasting climatic influences bring freshness and depth to this Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre blend. Vinified traditionally with 20 days’ maceration at controlled temperatures, the wine shows a deep ruby hue and aromas of raspberry, black cherry and strawberry, lifted by floral and spicy notes. 5. ESTIVAL SAUVIGNON BLANC 2024

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates has unveiled Estival, a new label celebrating Washington state’s aromatic white wines. The debut release, Estival Sauvignon Blanc 2024, is sourced from the Horse Heaven Hills sub-AVA of the Columbia Valley, an area renowned for layered, expressive whites. Named after the Latin for “belonging to summer”, Estival captures the warmth and vibrancy of the season. 6. MONKEY 47 DISTILLER’S CUT 2025

Monkey 47 gin has unveiled its 15th annual Distiller’s Cut, a limited-edition release refined with fleur de sel sea salt crystals from the Camargue’s palepink salt marshes in southern France. Dubbed the brand’s 48th botanical, the hand-harvested salt adds a delicate savoury edge to the gin’s complex, aromatic base of 47 botanicals. The result is anelegant dry gin with subtle salinity and mineral lift, balanced by Monkey 47’s hallmark depth and spice. Presented in a pale pink-and-blue bottle inspired by the Camargue skies,

7. SLY DOG SPICED ‘N’ STORMY

Sly Dog Rum has launched Spiced ‘n’ Stormy, a bold ready-to-drink take on the classic Dark ‘n’ Stormy cocktail. The new serve blends Sly Dog Spiced Rum with fiery ginger beer, a splash of lime and a dash of bitters, delivering smooth sweetness, warming spice and a sharp ginger bite. At 8% ABV, Spiced ‘n’ Stormy is designed for “effortless enjoyment – no mixing required.” Its jet-black can and bright orange label make it ideal for Bonfire Night, or relaxed evenings in. 8. TORABHAIG SOUND OF SLEAT

Torabhaig has unveiled Sound of Sleat Batch Strength, a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky that builds on the fourth chapter of its Legacy Series. Bottled at 60.2% ABV, the new expression amplifies the smoke, salinity and citrus brightness that define the distillery’s “well-tempered peat” style. Matured exclusively in American oak – a mix of ex-Bourbon and new casks – the whisky delivers bold smoke, maritime brine and oak spice with a waxy, elegant mouthfeel. The label features artwork by Skye artist Ellis O’Connor, inspired by the island’s rugged coastline. 9. SHAKER CANS AND PARTY BOXES

The Drinks Bureau has secured its first permanent grocery listing with Morrisons, rolling out new Shaker Cans and redesigned Party Boxes across 300 UK stores. The multi-award-winning RTD cocktail brand’s latest range bridges the gap between lower-strength alcopops and high-ABV premium serves, offering bar-quality cocktails at accessible prices. The 200ml Shaker Cans (8% ABV) debut with Spicy Margarita and Lychee Martini – which simply need to be chilled, shaken and sipped. The refreshed Party Boxes (1.5 litres) feature Spicy Margarita, Passion Fruit Martini and Espresso Martini, with bold “on-tap” branding for 10 sharing serves. RRP: £2.50/200ml can; £15/1.5-litre box

10. PRIME TIME PEAR

Prime Time has unveiled its first fruit beer, Prime Time Pear, a limitededition lager brewed with antioxidant-rich nashi pears from a family farm in Kent. At 4% ABV, the vegan and gluten-free release delivers a crisp, lightly sweet flavour with only 95 calories and 1.7g sugar per 330ml can – 30% fewer calories and 63% fewer carbs than the average premium lager, according to the brand.
