Tenuta di Meraviglia is the new winery of the ABFV group.

The winery is located in Donoratico, a hamlet of Castagneto Carducci, in the heart of Bolgheri. It has been built within the former Cariola quarry, decommissioned in the 1980s, and designed by Studio Bernardo Tori. The winery is spread over three levels and operates by gravity flow. The estate focuses on Cabernet Franc.

Sommelier International will be responsible for importing the producer’s wines, starting with its Bolgheri DOC and Vermentino, into the Chinese market for the first time.

The Chinese importer will also import Chianti from ABFV estate Dievole into the country.

Sommelier International is a importer of premium wines into China, with a portfolio that includes Altos Las Hormigas, Tinpot Hut, and most recently Mirabeau. The company works with leading hotels, restaurants, and retailers across the country.

The introduction of Tenuta di Meraviglia to Sommelier International was facilitated by Nimbility, a market and brand building company that connects international brands with distribution partners across Asia.

The first shipments from Tenuta di Meraviglia and Dievole will be available in China end of October through Sommelier International’s established channels.

Olalla Lopez-Corona, Export Sales Director at Dievole said of the partnership: “Bolgheri has become one of the most dynamic wine regions in Italy, and we are excited to now share our wines with consumers in China. Partnering with Sommelier International gives us the opportunity to build awareness and appreciation for our estate in this important market through the right channels and reaching the most enthusiastic drinkers.”
