db Asia gears up for ProWine Shanghai 2025
Preparations for another jam-packed programme at this year’s ProWine Shanghai exhibition are well under way for the drinks business Asia team. So what can you expect from us at this year’s show?

The db Asia team, including editor-in-chief of the drinks business Patrick Schmitt MW, will be heading to ProWine Shanghai on 12-14 November.
The team will be present to meet clients and friends, and will be offering a selection of medal-winning wines from the Global Masters series at our stand. The latest issue of db Asia will be available via the stand, featuring the biggest topical news stories and exclusive interviews with key players in the trade.
As well as presenting award-winning wines from all over the world to trade attendees, the db Asia team will be conducting interviews, recording podcasts and filming videos over the three days. If you would like to feature in our reporting from the show, please get in touch.

After a successful series of events and masterclasses in 2024, Patrick Schmitt MW will be back in town to give two masterclasses, one of which will follow up on the success of the International Fine Wine on La Place de Bordeaux Masterclass from last year. On pour at last year’s masterclass were world-class wines from Coonawarra estate Wynns, Morlet Family Vineyards, Viñedos Familia Chadwick’s Seña, Chile’s Maquis, Catena Zapata, Jackson Family Wines ‘ Cardinale, Santa Rita Estates’ Casa Real and Marchesi Mazzei Spa Agricola.
ProWine Shanghai will be returning to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in November. The 2024 exhibition welcomed 650 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions, with international exhibitors over 80%, many of whom were present to seize new opportunities in the wine and spirits market in China.
