AIX Rosé launches summer playlist

Vin de Provence brand AIX Rosé will be launching AIXperiences Under the Sun, its new summer playlist, this weekend.

This spring, AIX launched a seasonal playlist, called AIXpressions of New Beginnings, alongside its 2024 vintage.

The second playlist in AIX’s seasonal series also puns on the brand’s name. Called AIXperiences Under the Sun, it will officially hit Spotify on Saturday 21 June.

30 tracks are on the playlist, as was the case with the previous, three-hour-long playlist published in the spring.

The thinking behind the playlist is that it provides background music for occasions when groups might be consuming rosé outside, as Victor Verhoef, Maison Saint Aix’s marketing director, explained.

“From sharing experiences with friends over great wine, music and food to launching AIX, the sound that represents our wine and ethos has always been of particular interest,” said Verhoef. “This summer, we want to take all the pressure off your social gatherings by collaborating once again with Playlister to create specially-selected soundtracks to pair with our wine. We hope you find them as perfect a match as we do.”

“Much like Maison Saint Aix produces AIX using the perfect blend of grapes, at Playlister, we’re always seeking the ideal pairing — matching the very best music to the very best spaces. From a sunny seaside terrace to a glitzy hotel rooftop, the experience of drinking a crisp glass of rosé is elevated by a thoughtfully selected soundtrack,” added Playlister co-founder Ben Bridgewater.

“We explore a diverse range of sounds, considering the wine’s flavour profile, the terroir, the setting, and above all, sounds that evoke the spirit of summer,” suggested Bridgewater.
