Campari at Cannes
At the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, Campari took centre stage with one of the Croisette’s most glamorous events. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen unveiled the Mads Negroni, his smoky mezcal take on the classic cocktail, created in collaboration with Camparino in Galleria’s Tommaso Cecca. Guests including Barbara Palvin, Helena Christensen and Lucien Laviscount joined the festivities, which paid tribute to cinema and artistic expression.
Nipperkin at NIJU turns two
London’s Nipperkin bar celebrated its second birthday in style at NIJU, hosting a series of international takeovers featuring Hero Nairobi, Thunderbolt Los Angeles, Alma Prague and The Curator Manila. Each night brought global mixology talent to the capital.
Babylonstoren blooms at RHS Chelsea

South Africa’s Babylonstoren returned to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for a fifth year, serving its Mourvèdre Rosé as the official rosé of the show. The winery partnered with The Newt in Somerset to present a Karoo Succulent Garden, reinforcing the strong bond between horticulture and winemaking.
Bowmore ARC-54 preview at Sotheby’s
Douglas Blyde joined private clients at Sotheby’s to preview Bowmore’s ARC-54 Iridos Edition, a one-of-a-kind 54-year-old single malt with a decanter inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Estimated at £140,000–£220,000, the whisky will be auctioned to support communities surrounding Suntory’s Scottish distilleries.
Drinks Business Awards 2025
This year’s Drinks Business Awards recognised two exceptional industry leaders. Dawn Davies MW was named Woman of the Year for her leadership at The Whisky Exchange and commitment to education. Aidy Smith, founder of DRINKLUSIVE, was named Man of the Year for his transformative work in inclusivity across the global drinks industry.
