Global Wine Communicator Awards return for second year

67 Pall Mall launches the second edition of its Global Wine Communicator Awards, inviting entries from across the world to celebrate excellence in wine storytelling.

The private members’ wine club 67 Pall Mall has announced the return of its Global Wine Communicator Awards for 2025. Following the success of the inaugural edition last year, which saw over 600 entries, the competition aims to further cement its reputation as one of the most prestigious accolades in wine communication.

With categories covering long- and short-form writing, video, and audio, the awards seek to honour exceptional storytelling across diverse media. Entrants will compete for cash prizes of £2,000 in each of six categories, including the newly introduced Berkmann Award for Outstanding Communicator, which celebrates versatility across writing, video, and audio.

Richard Hemming MW, head of wine for Asia at 67 Pall Mall and founder of the awards, expressed optimism about expanding the reach in 2025. “We received submissions covering all manner of styles and topics, from some of the most well-established names in wine as well as exciting newcomers. The Awards is our way of celebrating the world’s greatest talent in wine communication.”

Entries are open now until 9 March 2025 and must feature content published between 4 March 2024 and 3 March 2025. While written and audio entries must be in English, video submissions can be in any language provided they include English subtitles.

The awards reflect 67 Pall Mall’s ambition to celebrate creativity in wine communication, as the club itself continues its global expansion, with new branches planned in Bordeaux, Beaune, and Melbourne.
