Ferrari Trento unveils special Jeroboam for Monza
Sparkling wine giant Ferrari Trento has unveiled a special three litre bottle adorned with the tricolore to be opened on the podium at this Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix.
Ferrari Trento has a longstanding partnership as the celebratory sparkling of Formula 1, with the commercial relationship first beginning in 2021 before being extended until at least 2025 in 2022.
The Ferrari F1 Gran Premio d’Italia Jeroboam sports the green, white and red of the Italian flag in the form of racing stripes.
Only four of the bottles have been produced, according to Ferrari Trento, and each is adorned with a label signifying those who come in first, second and third place. A fourth bottle will be signed by those on the podium and auctioned after the race on F1 Authentics to the raise money for Make-A-Wish International.
Ferrari Trento president and CEO Matteo Lunelli commented: “This iconic activation is designed to not only honour the winners but also to celebrate the very meaning of what it means to be Italian and bring the Italian Art Living to the much-loved racetrack in Monza.”
The Monza Circuit in Lombardy has been home to the Italian Grand Prix since 1949. Over its lengthy history, the race has seen its fair share of thrilling moments, from Alberto Ascari’s victory under Enzo Ferrari in the first edition to be held at Monza to Michael Schumacher’s dramatic win in 2006 (just before he announced his retirement from the sport).
“This collaboration between Ferrari Trento and Formula 1 continues to showcase the harmonious blend of sport and elegance, underlining the importance of celebrating success with style,” added Lunelli.
