The Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, and neighbouring distillery The Glenturret are set to release 750 bottles of a third and final single malt from their collaboration — the trilogy series.

Luxury hotel The Gleneagles launches third whisky with The Glenturret

Scotland’s oldest working distillery has teamed up with the 5 star hotel for the third time, launching an 11-year-old single malt whisky.

Each of the 750 bottles is hand numbered, which the two businesses hope will amplify the range’s exclusivity and distinction.

The new release marks the final time the Perthshire distillery and luxury hotel will collaborate this year, but the Scottish brands have revealed that they will continue their partnership into 2024.

A limited number of bottles have been held for the whisky to be served by the dram at The Gleneagles’ American Bar. Along with the release, guests who purchase a bottle will be offered a complimentary tour of The Glenturret Distillery.

Listed in The Still Room in The Gleneagles Retail Arcade, the hotel’s whisky store boasts a collection of over 200 bottles.

The single malt will be exclusively available for purchase for the resident guests at its whisky shop, The Still Room, where the Gleneagles’ third expression retails at £125.

Daniel Baernreuther, general manager at The Gleneagles, said of the latest launch: “We have continued to work hard with The Glenturret to create a special single malt that beautifully concludes and celebrates the trilogy. Following on from the triumph of the initial two releases, our aim was to carry on the tradition of crafting a whisky that captures the magic and comfort of the two brands. This particular expression serves as a tribute to the rich heritage and natural beauty in our surrounding, inviting individuals to experience the warm essence of our land and culture, be it at The Gleneagles’ American Bar or from the comfort of their own homes.”
