The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have certainly set tongues wagging with their much-discussed Netflix documentary, during which revelations about their lives in the Royal circle. This includes a new claim from Prince Harry about the way his brother has operated with the press.

“I would far rather get destroyed in the press than play along with this game, or this business of trading. To see my brother’s office copy the very same thing the two of us promised we would never ever do, that was heartbreaking,” Prince Harry said.

But despite the couples’ claims about the way they were treated by the British media and allegations from others that the Palace was briefing against the Sussexes, reaction to the documentary has been mixed.

And one London pub appears to have taken a swipe at the couple in its own esoteric way, by creating a ‘Harry’s Bitter’ beer.

According to a tweet that contains an image of the beer, the Duke of Sussex pub in Chiswick is behind the “royally good” brew.

However, not everyone saw the funny side of the brew.

“Pathetic – you did not serve with distinction in Afghanistan. The Duke of Sussex did”, one Twitter user wrote, while another added, “Prince Harry served in the Army for ten years, rising to the rank of Captain and undertaking two tours of Afghanistan. He continues to work in support of his fellow servicemen, promoting support for wounded men and women as they adapt to life post-injury. And you?”

The latest instalments of Harry & Meghan air on Netflix today.
