Supermarket giant Tesco urges customers to throw away a range of beers, warning them over fermentation fears.

Tesco customers are being urged not to drink and instead safely throw away beers from Vocation Brewery’s Vocation Lower Altitude Table Beer 4 x 330ml range, over concerns that “fermentation” may cause the cans to swell and burst. All best before dates are affected by the warning.

Any customer who has purchased the beers has been told not to drink the beers and instead take a photograph of the cans before “disposing of them safely”.

The photograph can be used in store at Tesco customer service desks to receive a full refund. No receipt is necessary.
