Wetherspoon announces 99p alcoholic drinks next month

Pub chain Wetherspoon has revealed that it will be selling a selection of alcoholic drinks for the bargain price of 99p next month, as the business doubles down on the low prices that made its name.

Wetherspoon 99p drinks

Wetherspoon is known for its highly competitive pricing, as well as its ubiquity, and in November the chain will be taking the whole cheap pint thing to the next level.

Throughout the next month, customers will be able to enjoy a pint of Ruddle’s Best, Green King IPA, a bottle of Beck’s or a 25ml measure of Bell’s whisky for just 99p in England. In Scotland and Wales the pints will be priced at £1.10 due to unit price restrictions.

Our pubs are known for their excellent choice of drinks at value-for-money-prices at all times,” said Wetherspoon’s chairman Tim Martin.

“Throughout November our customers will be able to choose from a great choice of drinks and save themselves some money too.”

If you’re not into cheap pints and whisky, then ‘Spoons is also throwing a 175ml glass of Coldwater Creek wine (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Merlot or White Zinfandel Rose) into the mix for £1.69, a 25ml measure of Gordon’s gin and mixer for £1.99, or a bottle of Hardys wine (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Shiraz or Rose) for £6.99.

Meanwhile if it’s soft drinks you’re after, you can bag yourself a range of coffees, tea and hot chocolate for just 99p with free refills.

Airport locations are not included in Wetherspoon’s November deals.
