D.O. Rueda launches Taste Rueda campaign for 2021
The ‘Taste Rueda’ campaign, which aims to support the on and off-trade increase sales of D.O. Rueda wines, has been launched for the third consecutive year.
The new campaign will focus its efforts on off-trade retail, press and sommelier education over the course of the next year, with the #TasteRueda promotion running in participating retail, online and on-trade outlets for the duration of the campaign.
Participating stores and restaurants will eligible to apply for a £250 bursary to set up the promotion, which runs from now until April 2022.
Mario Muñoz, export promotion director for the DO Rueda, commented:

“Rueda is booming globally, consumer recognition is on the up and this is a great opportunity for traders and sommeliers to take advantage of consumer demand.” He continued, “The UK trade can make the most of the popularity of Rueda wines as in The Netherlands, Germany and Russia, but also in other markets such as Canada, USA, Peru, Colombia, Japan, South Korea.”
