The video in question was captured by 18-year-old Kaiya Melanie from Romford in Essex, and shows a man cradling his pints of beer as fans jubilantly celebrate Kane’s late strike against Germany on Tuesday.

Melanie’s footage was captured at The Lord Stanley pub in Plaistow, per MailOnline.

“It’s a great pub. My friend’s mum runs it so the atmosphere is always happy.” She told the publication.

“In the garden they have TVs and music. Normally because of Covid restrictions we have to sit on the benches but I think the crowd got a bit too excited!”

The 18-year-old said she would definitely be returning to the venue to watch England take on Ukraine in the quarter final on Saturday 3 July.

The game will be the first time England have played away during the tournament, as they travel to Rome. It is highly doubtful that any England fans will be able to make the journey due to Covid restrictions.

As for the man cradling his pints for dear life? We’ll have to wait and see if he makes a comeback, or chooses a quieter venue in which to sip in peace..

Watch one US man save his date from being struck by a foul ball with his pint of beer. Truly heroic stuff.
