Californian wine brand Carnivor unveils bold new look

The award-winning wine gears up to launch striking new packaging for its Zinfandel this month.

A premium wine needs an equally impressive suit of clothing to do it justice, and now that Carnivor has bagged the accolade of being the UK’s number one Zinfandel, it’s time for a bit of an image shake-up, or so the brand feels.

The best-selling Carnivor Zinfandel, crafted especially to go alongside red meats, is about to get an image overhaul to better reflect its “bold and intense” characteristics. The stylish new label will feature a foil logo and a sleek silver band highlighting the varietal, creating an assured statement on the shelf.

Carnivor believes the eye-catching new packaging will fuel further growth for the wine, which has already gone from strength to strength over the past 12 months, pocketing a number of awards including a Gold medal at Mundus Vini Wine Competition and Silver medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards, as well as IWC for its 2018 Zinfandel.

“From its brand name, wine style and now to its refreshed premium packaging, Carnivor is bold through and through”, says Olga Senkina, marketing director EMEA, E&J Gallo Winery. “By drawing out those premium credentials and allowing the packaging to really stand out, we feel that Carnivor is now well positioned to better attract consumers at the point of purchase and make them feel confident in their wine choices.”

Now if someone could just deliver us a nice juicy steak with a drizzle of peppercorn sauce we’d be most grateful.
