Dolly Parton announces launch of ‘Highlands in the Stream’ single malt Scotch

Legendary Country signer Dolly Parton has today announced the launch of a single malt Scotch named Highlands in the Stream – in a nod to her seminal hit single with Kenny Rogers.

Dolly Parton Scotch Whisky

Dolly Parton is said to have been working 9-5 on curating the Scotch, a labour of love that sees the iconic singer move Two Doors Down from her most recent collaboration – a strawberry pretzel pie ice cream – and into the world of spirits.

It would’ve been easy to Put It Off Until Tomorrow, but Parton’s announcement is sure to set sparks flying, as the influential singer proves once again that she’s no Dumb Blonde.

The aptly named Highlands in the Stream is a single malt Scotch Whisky, bucking the trend of recent celebrity drinks collaborations, which have largely targeted Tequila, hard seltzers and rosé.

We’ll keep our ear to the ground for the next big Parton announcement, whether it be a Hard Candy Christmas Seltzer, or indeed an Applejack.

Oh, and it might seem like It’s All Wrong, but It’s All Right – we’re only joking. Happy April Fool’s Day!
