Vinexpo takes ‘The Buzz’ virtual for 2021, starting with ‘The Spirit of Mentorship in the Drinks Industry’

The Buzz, a dedicated space at Vinexpo that promotes discussion and knowledge sharing will take place virtually throughout 2021, starting with ‘The Spirit of Mentorship in the Drinks Industry’, which will take place in March.

The Virtual Buzz will continue throughout the year in a digital capacity, with a focus on current events, trends and issues impacting the beverage alcohol industry in the United States.

Registrations are open now in advance of the first panel of the year, ‘The Spirit of Mentorship in the Drinks Industry’, which will see industry leaders discuss how their experience with mentorships have positively impacted their careers in the industry.

The panel will also share their own advice on the steps one can take when seeking out a mentor of their own.

So how will The Virtual Buzz take place?

According to the sign up page, it’s simple: “Sign up in advance and submit your question to the panel for discussion. When the session is made available in early March, it will be sent to your inbox to watch when it’s most convenient for you!”

Panelists for the event will be: Nicole Austin, General Manager & Distiller, Cascade Hollow Distilling Co., Ms. Franky Marshall, Modern Bartender/Educator, and Claudia Shubert, President, US Spirits & Canada, Diageo North America. The moderator will be Monique Huston, Vice President Wholesale Spirits, Winebow.
