2021 China wine fairs to have on your radar

While we’re not out of the woods yet with regards to the coronavirus pandemic, a host of wine fairs are due to take place in China this year, which are hoping to reunite and re-ignite the industry.

The 104th China Food & Drinks Fair
7-9 April 2021
Western China International Expo City, Chengdu

As one of the wine fairs that was scheduled when coronavirus was rampant in China, The China Food & Drink Fair (CFDF), widely known as the Chengdu wine fair, was delayed till July 2020 and held virtually at last. This year, the fair will resume its physical event at Western China International Expo City in Chengdu.

However, it is expected that the fair will show a strong digital integration as in 2020 the organiser teamed up with Alibaba to introduce an innovative exhibition platform based on AI and cloud technology, featuring online display, supply-purchase matching, marketing live streaming and business negotiation.

This year, the trade show will expand to 21,000 square meters and bring on engaging seminars, workshops and forums to connect the industry professionals.
