Vinexpo NY to host webinar on ‘new normal’ for alcohol sales
Trade show Vinexpo New York is hosting a webinar tomorrow (3 June) to discuss how the coronavirus pandemic has affected the day-to-day running of businesses within the alcohol industry.
The virtual panel talk will discuss whether alcohol sales can recover after global lockdowns cut off restaurants and bars as a route to market for months, or if 2019 was the last normal year for the industry.
Called The New Normal: Beverage Alcohol in a Covid Environment, the webinar will take place on 3 June from 11am to 11.45am EST (4:45pm BST). It is being sponsored by IWSR Drinks Market Analysis.
Brandy Rand, chief operating officer, Americas, IWSR, will be one of the key speakers during the webinar.
Viewers can also submit questions in advance for Rand to answer on the day. The webinar is free of charge, and will explore changes in consumer behaviour, as well as the rise in importance of e-commerce as a platform for drinks manufacturers and retailers.
