Taste premium rum, canned wine, craft gin and alcoholic tea at the Wine & Spirits Show

We bring you a sneak peak of what to expect at our Wine & Spirits Show taking place this April.

After a two sell-out shows in 2019 and 2018, attended by over 1500 people, we are thrilled to announce that our Wine & Spirits Show will be back at One Whitehall Place on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 April 2020.

The exhibitors

So far we’ve had a handful of very big names in the wine world sign up to take part in our two-day exhibition this year. Ehrmanns-owned wine brand Beefsteak Club, Italian giants Bosco Viticultori and Zonin, and Spanish and Portuguese brokerage specialises Oakley Wine Agencies are all on the list.

When it comes to spirits, we’re delighted to announce that Cornish spirits maker Mainbrace Rum will make an appearance at the show this spring. Mainbrace Rum is a premium blend of rum from Guyana, near the banks of the Demerara River, and a French Agricole from Martinique. With premium rum already the talk of 2020, we can’t wait to see what they have in store.

As well as this, spirits wholesaler Dark Marina will be joining us alongside Alternative Liqueurs, flashy vodka and gin maker Uokka Drinks, and Coastal Distillery, who are behind the award-winning Dam Raider Gin. We’re also welcoming back Scotch aficionados Angus Dundee Distillers, who will be showcasing some of their finest whiskies over the weekend.

The New Products Zone will showcase the hottest wines and spirits launched within the last 12 months, keeping you up to speed with emerging trends and releases. Among the brands that have already signed up to be a part of our New Products Zone this year are Canned Wine Co, who will showcase their Touriga Nacional 2018 and Gruner Veltliner 2019, Beefsteak Club, debuting its new organic Tannat, and Pernod Ricard, showing off the drinks giant’s all-new tea-infused wine range.

Guests will be asked to vote for their favourite to win one of our selected prizes, while the winning serve will be featured in the next issue of the drinks business and The Spirits Business‘ magazines.

And when you finally succumb to nose fatigue, you can head to our dedicated G&T bar for a complimentary serve, included with the price of the ticket.

The Wine & Spirits Show will open at 2pm until 8pm on Friday 3 April. On Saturday 4 April, the show will be held from 1pm until 7pm. Tickets are available here.

We will host a trade session for professionals in the wine and spirits industry from 2-5pm on Friday 3 April, but the rest of WSS is open to consumers.
