Joseph Drouhin announces Enotria&Coe partnership

Burgundian winery Joseph Drouhin has announced it has signed an agreement with Enotria&Coe to distribute its wines in the UK on-trade.

A part of the Pol Roger Portfolio in the UK, Pol Roger will continue to act as Drouhin’s representative in the off-trade but the domaine has appointed Enotria&Coe to broaden and strengthen its position in the restaurant trade.

President of the executive board at Maison Joseph Drouhin, Frédéric Drouhin, said: “This agreement shows our confidence in the UK market and is a perfect fit between people that have the same philosophy to position Joseph Drouhin as a leading House with a producer soul.”

Director of buying at Enotria&Coe, Harriet Kininmonth, added: “Joseph Drouhin is a remarkable estate and we’re excited to work alongside the family and the team at Pol Roger Portfolio to create ambassadors and drive sales. We pride ourselves on having the UK’s best and most relevant portfolio, and Drouhin undoubtedly brings additional cachet to our range.”

Jonathan Smailes, sales director at Pol Roger Portfolio, commented: “We are thrilled Enotria&Coe has chosen wines from Joseph Drouhin to expand their Burgundy offering to the on trade. Drouhin continue to produce outstanding wines from throughout the region and we are confident the selected wines will be extremely popular with Enotria’s impressive customer base.”
