Global Wine Masters medal-winners to go on show in Chelsea

The Wine Show Chelsea, which runs from 18-20 October this year, will include a selection of the highest-scoring wines from the Global Wine Masters, be they top Tuscan reds, delicious Marlborough whites or some of the greatest organic wines being made today.

Selected by myself from across our competition series, the table of wines all picked up a Gold medal at one of db’s competitions, which sees Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers blind-taste samples by grape variety, style, and, for certain famous wine producing areas, by region too.
Among the wines that will feature at the show on London’s King’s Road are a Pinot Grigio from Alto Adige producer Peter Zemmer, a Merlot blend from Tuscany’s Castello Banfi, and an organic Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough.
The table of award-winning wines provides a valuable opportunity for members of the trade to see a broad sweep of wines that have already been taste-tested by professionals, meaning the hard work of finding a great wine, be it white, red or rosé, organic or sparkling, has been done for you.
So come along for a one-off chance to try the highest-rated wines of their type.
A session for the trade has been scheduled for between 1-5pm on Friday 18, but professionals from the drinks sector are welcome at any point during the three-day event.
The Wine Show Chelsea will take place at the Chelsea Old Town Hall on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October this year.
