Orchard Pig cider launches “The Ultimate Sty-cation”

Orchard Pig cider company is offering consumers the opportunity to stay in a gigantic wooden pod in the shape of a pig.

Painted pink, “the world’s first portable piggy home” can accommodate 12 people and sleep two, equipped with “all the necessities for a night under the stars”.

Fully mobile, the ‘Trojan Pig’ can be brought to guests wherever they choose to stay.

According to the company’s Airbnb advert: “The piggy glamping pod is perfect for a camping trip for two, but can comfortably fit 12 inside – the portable pod will be brought to the location of your choice, and equipped with all the camping essentials (but not too many – this is about embracing nature and living the piggy lifestyle…).

“Your stay will include: full use of the piggy pod designed to have you sleeping like a pig in a blanket, fully weather proofed facilities with sleeping bags, festoon lighting, cooking equipment and soft furnishings provided – far more inviting than your average tent.”

Already spotted at festivals, including Glastonbury which took place last month, booking for August will open next week.
