New director of CA Grands Crus named

Anne Le Naour has been appointed as the new director of Credit Agricole’s wine division, taking over from Thierry Budin.

CA Grands Crus includes Château Grand-Puy-Ducasse and Château Meyney and Clos Saint-Vincent in Bordeaux and Château de Santenay in Burgundy.

A trained oenologist – having studied in Montpellier – Le Naour began her career at Yarra Yering in Australia before heading to Bordeaux to work for négociant house Ginestet and then Bernard Magrez.

In 2010 she joined CA Grands Crus as group technical director and since 2016 has been deputy general manager alongside Budin.

CA Grands Crus said in a statement: “Anne Le Naour’s appointment is the result of ten years of experience with CA Grands Crus alongside Thierry Budin. Together, they initiated numerous projects within the properties (sustainability, restructuring of vineyards, development of terroirs), but also in the structuring of distribution with the Bordeaux market and in the promotion of wines bearing the signature of Crédit Agricole.”
