Strong exhibitor response to Prowein online registration
There has been a strong initial response from exhibitors registering for the next innings of trade show Prowein.
More than 6,800 exhibitors from 61 Nations showcase their products at ProWein each year.
Since April all exhibitors have been able to register online, and already businesses seeking to showcase their wares at the event in Düsseldorf have started to declare their interest.
A total of 61,500 wine and spirits professionals (2018: 60,500) made journey to Düsseldorf in 2019, with more than 80% involved in purchasing decisions – a record high.
Visitors travelled from 142 countries (2018: 133 countries), with Germany representing the biggest contingent of visitors, followed by the Benelux, France, Italy and the UK.
ProWein 2020 will take place from 15–17 March in Düsseldorf. One year later, in 2021, ProWein will run from 21–23 March, with an expanded hall layout. The extensive renovation of the Düsseldorf fairgrounds will allow ProWein to incorporate the modern South entrance and its new and adjacent Hall 1.
A total of 12,716 trade visitors travelled to ProWine Asia 2019 in Hong Kong last month. The next trade fair in the ProWein portfolio is ProWine China, which will be held in Shanghai from 12 to 14 November 2019.
