Trader Joe’s are selling succulent gardens inside recycled wine bottles, as reported by Bustle.

The US-based company has launched these “whimsical” windowsill gardens in select stores, with the bottles being spotted in Southern California and Nevada.

At only US$12.99 (£10), wine-lovers and plant parents on the west coast can own their very own quirky succulent garden.

Green-fingered wine fans elsewhere don’t have to miss out though, as this makes an fun DIY project that’s great for recycling those empty wine bottles, (however, it does involve melting the glass yourself, so be prepared  – it’s not a 10-minute-at-your-kitchen-table kind of craft.)

With houseplant sales on the rise, especially due to their aesthetic ‘Instagrammable’ nature, these picture-perfect wine-inspired home gardens are destined to do well.
