Police recover $25,000 worth of Patron Tequila
Police in Texas have recovered more than 1,000 bottles of stolen Patron Tequila worth around US$25,000.
As reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, a pallet containing 1,014 bottles of Patrón tequila was stolen from inside a trailer in mid September.
The Laredo Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force said they launched surveillance on a suspect when he “began advertising large quantities of Tequila Patron for sale on social media pages.”
The investigation led police to a residence where they discovered a large stash of the spirit, thought to be worth $25,000.

In total, police recovered 29 cases of Roca Silver worth $11,310, 17 cases of Gran Patrón worth $8,619 and nine cases of mini Patrón tequila bottles worth $4,860.
One man has been arrested, with more charges and arrests pending.
