The Drinks Business Asian Awards in Pictures
After gruelling judging and much anticipation, the winners of the inaugural Drinks Business Asian Awards were unveiled yesterday at a ceremony held at the Renaissance Harbour View hotel in Wanchai.
The Asian edition of our successful Drinks Business global awards recognises top companies and leaders in Asia’s wine and spirits field. Hosted by editor-in-chief of the drinks business, Patrick Schmitt MW, the awards honoured 17 companies and key trade personalities that have demonstrated outstanding corporate performance and exemplary leadership skills across Asia in Hong Kong, mainland China and even Vietnam.
The categories included Best Drinks Event, Best Social Media Campaign, Best Launch, Best Consumer Campaign, Best Trade Campaign, Best On-Trade Supplier, Best Online Retailer, Best Retail, Fine Wine Retailer, Best Drinks Company of the Year, Young Achiever of the Year, and Man of the Year.

Spain’s leading Cava producer Codorníu was the official wine sponsor at our drinks business Asian Awards and the brand’s 1551 expression was on pour during the ceremony. The sparkling wine was created to commemorate the year Codorníu was founded.
