Save the date: db Asian Awards is set for 9 November

Riding on the back of the success of The Drinks Business Awards, our inaugural Drinks Business Asia Awards is set to launch on 9 November to reward outstanding Asian companies and personalities in the drinks trade.

This year, the event will kick off at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel where key trade members and wine aficionados will attend the award presentation ceremony. Despite being the first year, competition is stiff among top wine merchants and leading trade professionals to compete for 14 categories of awards.

Patrick Schmitt MW, editor in chief of the drinks business, will be flying over from London to Hong Kong to present the awards to the winning companies and personalities across Asia.

In the Personality category, leading personalities from the drinks industry and trend setters will battle it out for Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Young Achiever of the Year, and Retail Buyer of the Year.

Rewarding the best marketing efforts, The Drinks Business Asian Awards will highlight the most successful marketing and launch campaigns in the Asia Pacific region with awards for Best Launch, Best Social Media Campaign and Best Drinks Event.

Under the Business category, entrants will compete for Best Drinks Company of the Year (Wine, Spirits and Beer), Best Travel Retail Award, Best PR Company, Best Retail Award (Wine, Spirits and Beer), On-trade Supplier of the Year, Best Online Retailer, and Fine Wine Retailer of the Year.

The event is sponsored by Spain’s top Cava producer Codorníu. If you are interested in joining us for the ceremony, please contact Ivy Ng at ivy@thedrinksbusiness.com before 6 November.
