Nomacorc changes name to ‘Vinventions’

Synthetic cork producer Nomacorc has changed its name to Vinventions, along with South African cork producer Juvenal and German cork maker Ohlinger, which all now fall under the Vinventions umbrella.

As part of the rebrand, Vinventions has also unveiled new logos for the Vinventions Group and its House of 7 brands – a portfolio of seven brands designed to support the diverse closure requirements of still and sparkling wine producers across five continents.

The new logo plays on the ‘moment of truth’, “When we
swirl the wine in our glass and have our five senses fully embrace the
wine,” said Malcolm Thompson, chief innovation officer and president of the Americas for Vinventions.

“We have chosen our new Vinventions logo to celebrate this moment of truth as a symbol of our passion and our dedication to our customers and the success of their wines,” he added.

In addition to the new logos, all of the company’s production plants and commercial offices around the world have been renamed Vinventions.

“We have successfully established Vinventions as the most innovative and trusted global supplier of complete closure solutions to the still and sparkling wine industry,” said Dr. Heino Freudenberg, president and CEO of Vinventions.

“Therefore, we now introduce to our customers and partners our set of new and easy-to-distinguish logos. The renaming of our legal entities to ‘Vinventions’ completes this transformation,” he added.

All products and services of Vinventions’ will also be offered under newly designed brand logos, which include Nomacorc in green for PlantCorcTM, Syntek in red for traditional synthetics and Vinolok in grey for glass closures.

This new Vinventions identity will be evident in all communications with immediate effect.
