Michael Schuster launches new website

Wine writer and educator Michael Schuster has launched a new website and a new edition of his book ‘Essential Winetasting’.

A veteran of over 30 years in the trade, Schuster’s new website contains all the information about the courses and tastings he runs throughout the year as well as giving clients the opportunity to purchase tickets through the website.

Also out and available through the revamped website is Schuster’s book, ‘Essential Winetasting: The Complete Practical Winetasting Course’.

The new edition is larger than the one before, with 32 more pages and 60 new images as well as refreshed copy throughout.

The section on ‘Grapes and their Wines’ has been “substantially rewritten” and is now “sensibly” in alphabetical order.

There are also a number of new essays in the book covering many issues “pertinent now in a way they were not 20 years ago”, including” Climate Change, Organics, Biodynamics, Natural Winemaking and Closures.

There is also a new section on blind tasting and the ‘DIY Tastings’ section has been made “more complete”.
