Jack Daniel’s launches Lynchburg lemonade

Renowned Tennessee whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s has launched its first premix cocktail – Lynchburg Lemonade – in the off-trade.

The popular bar serve blends Jack Daniel’s with triple sec and lemonade, and, according to its makers, is “sweet and refreshing with the unmistakable taste of Jack Daniel’s”.

Playing on the distillery’s location in Lynchburg, the drink is housed in a 330ml can dressed in the brand’s signature black, with touches of lemon yellow.

Hoping to prove a hit with younger consumers seeking fresh, fruity flavours this summer, Lynchburg Lemonade follows the successful launch of Jack Daniel’s & Cola and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey & Lemonade premix serves.

‎”As the leader of the American whiskey category in the UK, we’re excited to be introducing this delicious new cocktail to the range in time for the summer,” said Charlotte Ashburner, head of marketing at Brown-Forman.

“Consumers love the convenience of being able to enjoy their favourite Jack serve in a ready-to drink-format, so given its popularity in the on-trade, it seemed fitting that we bring Jack Daniel’s Lynchburg Lemonade to the premix range,” she added.

Jack Daniel’s is owned by Brown-Forman and distributed by Bacardi Brown-Forman in the UK. Jack Daniel’s Lynchburg Lemonade goes on sale in the UK this month.
