In a bid to appeal to Asia’s ratings-conscious wine consumers, TWE’s has made a push on its wine brands that have scored at least 90 points across Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine & Spirits and James Halliday.

The launch began in Hong Kong and China earlier this week but the 90+ Club will also be introduced to Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and also in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.

TWE has highlighted Stag’s Leap, Penfolds, Wolf Blass, Wynns, Chateau St Jean and Etude in its selection and Napa winemakers, Harry Hansen from Sterling Vineyards, Mark Beringer from Beringer and Jeffrey Stambor from Beaulieu Vineyards attended the Hong Kong launch at China Tang on Monday, 5 December.

“From a diversity of grapes, regions and producers, the 90+ Club collection of wines have one thing in common – the recognised quality of a 90+ rating,” said Peter Dixon, general manager of North Asia for TWE.

“90 points marks the difference between wines that are good and those who are truly outstanding. With 90+ Club, we hope to make it easier for consumers to find great wines, all of which are recognised for superior quality as hassle-free as possible. We look forward to bringing this innovative concept to life with our trade and business partners.”
