The collaboration will see The Sampler’s recently revamped tasting room at its South Kensington site transformed into a wine bar and restaurant offering a changing selection of wines by the glass and bottle, accompanied with fresh seafood, oysters and British charcuterie and cheeses.

The residency will run from Tuesday to Saturday, 5pm-9.30pm, until 30 September.

Bonnie Gull has been working with The Sampler since its first pop-up in 2011 in Angel. The merchant has been the primary wine supplier to Bonnie Gull’s restaurants ever since.

“We see this as a great opportunity to expand our brand with our longest standing supplier,” Bonnie Gull MD Alex Hunter said.

“The residency will make the most of the fantastic space available, providing an opportunity for locals and visitors to the area to enjoy a fantastic range of wines alongside great British seafood.”

Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack opened on Foley St, Fitzrovia, in 2012. The restaurant was recently named in Open Table’s Top 100 UK Restaurants. The company also ran Bonnie Gull Seafood Bar on Exmouth Market (now closed) and is set to open another restaurant in Soho in September 2016.

The Sampler was the first independent wine merchant to introduce Enomatic machines to the UK in 2006. With shops on Upper Street, Islington, and Thurloe Place, South Kensington, it specialises in own imports from small producers and grower Champagnes.

The tasting room at The Sampler is also available for private events and tastings.
