Palmer launches blanc in Hong Kong

Chateau Palmer has just released its 2014 Vin Blanc de Palmer to the Hong Kong market, via Omtis Fine Wines.

A blend of Loset, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Gris and with limited production of up to 1,500 bottles a year, the 2014 Palmer Blanc will also be offered along with Palmer’s 1995 and 2011 vintages as well as a 2008 vintage of its second label, Alter Ego at the Ritz Carlton.

The six-course pairing dinner at Ting Lung Heen is priced at HK$2,888 per person (plus an HK$600 for a glass of the Palmer Blanc) and courses include: crab claw and pumpkin pan-fried scallop, Matsutake mushroom soup, baked lamb roll with black and white garlic, French duck with honey, and fried rice with braised abalone.

The dinner promotion will run until 31 July.

“We are delighted that our collaboration with Palmer has grown to include the mysterious white wine, Vin Blanc de Palmer, which together with some exceptional vintages of Chateau Palmer have been so meticulously paired by a world-class team at Tin Lung Heen,” said Philippe Bera, Omtis’ COO.

“Given our close relationship with Chateau Palmer and a mutual philosophy in building brands through effective distribution, we have the privilege of receiving an exclusive allocation of  Vin Blanc de Palmer commencing with the 2014 vintage in top-tier venues in Hong Kong and Macau.”
