Acker to host bumper Burgundy HK sale

Acker, Merrall and Condit’s upcoming June sale in Hong Kong will feature a bumper crop of over 150 lots of top Burgundy.

Held on 3 June, the auction will feature cases of Rosseau’s “big three vintages of 2005, 2009 and 2010″ as well as lots of 2009 and 2010 Dujac Grand Cru.

Burgundy fanatics can also bid on back vintages of 1993, 1996, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2008 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti as well as rare cases of Roumier Amoureuses, Meo-Camuzet, Dugat-Py, de Montille Christiane and Hudelot-Noellat.

Elsewhere, there are four vintages of the Liger-Belair Golden Dragon collection plus many older vintages of Leroy Chambertin, Richebourg and Romanee St Vivant.

Throughout the sale there are also examples of Champagne Krug, Cristal, Dom Perignon Rose and cuvees of Selosse and Jacquesson, plus an extremely rare 12-bottle case of 1982 Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Francaises.

Bordeaux lovers will not feel left out with magnums of Chateau Latour and Mouton Rothschild, plus lots that date back to 1905 Latour from the Noble Family Collection and 1908 Lafite.

Commenting on the upcoming sale, Acker, Merrall and Condit’s CEO, John Kapon said: “This makes it clear yet again that no one does it like Acker Merrall. People love to talk, but as we like to say, the proof is in the catalog, and this is about as good as it gets.”
