A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to commercialise the world’s first ‘vaginal beer’.

Using a campaign on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo, a company called The Order of Yoni (‘yoni’ means ‘vagina’ in Sanskrit) says that it has “prepared technology making [the] creation of such unique beer possible”.

Described as containing the “quintessence of femininity”, the beer is made using lactic acid bacteria isolated from a Czech model and propagated to brew a sour beer, the company says.

Lactic acid bacteria, or lactobacillus, is commonly used to make cheese and yoghurt, as well as being used in the brewing sour beers such as Belgian lambics.

It occurs naturally in the gastrointestinal tract of humans and other animals. It is also part of part of a woman’s vaginal microbiota.

The Order of Yoni claims it has used the vaginal bacteria of a Czech model named Alexandra Brendlovato to create its prototype beer.

The company says each bottle on its yoni beer will feature the date on which the model’s vaginal swab was taken.

“The secret of the beer lies in her vagina,” the campaign page says. “Using hi-tech of microbiology, we isolate, examine and prepare lactic acid bacteria from the vagina of a unique woman.

“The bacteria transfers woman’s features, allure, grace, glamour, and her instincts into beers and other products, turning them into a dance with lovely angel.”

The sales pitch goes on:

“Imagine a woman of your dreams, your object of desire. Her charm, her sensuality, her passion… Try her taste, feel her smell, hear her voice… Imagine her massaging you passionately and whispering into your ear everything you want. Now free your fantasies and imagine that with a magic wand you can close it in one bottle of beer.

“The golden drink brewed with her lure [sic], grace and flavored with instincts. Imagine the beer of which every sip is a randez-vous [sic] with this hot woman of your dreams… How much would you give for that beer?”

The Order of Yoni also plans to create a range of other beer products using vaginal bacteria, including a ‘BDSM ale’, described as a “sour ale made with smoked plums and vaginal lactic acid bacteria of red-head or brunette model” and a blond ale “made with wheat malt, saffron and edible gold, with vaginal lactic acid bacteria of a blond-haired model or celebrity”.

The vaginal beer crowdfunding campaign has set a funding target of €150,000. This would enable the company to brew six batches of around 16,600 beers, the campaign statement said.

At the time of writing it the campaign had raised €173.

The yoni beer would not be the first to use genital products in the brewing process. In August last year db reported on a New Zealand brewery called Choice Bros that had produced a ‘milked’ stout laced with stag semen.
