MWM hosts Vinexpo media training workshop

Meiburg Wine Media will host a PR and media relations workshop for HK’s wine trade in the run up to Vinexpo.

Entitled, “In the Spotlight: Making the Most of the Media,” Debra Meiburg’s upcoming SPIT conference aims to train Hong Kong’s wine folk in wooing the consumer and trade media with guest speakers from Vinexpo Hong Kong’s PR agency, GHC.

Account director, Jessie Gogan looks after GHC’s clients Vinexpo, Aqua Restaurant Group, Berry Bros. & Rudd, Laucala Island, Mövenpick Hotels and HBO Asia and has seven years’ experience at agency level and Tammy Foo is GHC’s social media marketing director and advises clients on developing their social media strategies and works with the GHC China offices handling Weibo.

“If you’re baffled, out-of-date, or eager to learn more about PR and media relations, you’re not alone,” said Debra Meiburg. The opportunities to capitalize on our prolific and thirsty media are almost endless, but conceptualising and implementing a campaign can be daunting.

“Learn the basics, understand the trends, and get some tips from the Vinexpo insiders before this global mega event coming to Hong Kong in May.”

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 30 March at Wan Chai’s Pico Tower. For non Wine-SPIT members, the price will be HK$350 and potential attendees can RSVP here.
