Pol Roger adds fizz to Land Rover model

Pol Roger will show off a bespoke project as Champagne sponsor of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials this September, part of the house’s biggest ever UK marketing activity.

Working in collaboration with the event’s head sponsor, as well as Holland & Holland and Cordings of Piccadilly, the Champagne house will use its presence at Burghley to unveil a bespoke Land Rover Defender, one of the very last to come off the company’s production line.

Pol Roger’s sponsorship of one of the biggest events in the UK eventing calendar follows its announcement last month as official Champagne partner for the FEI European Eventing Championships at Blair Castle, which take place a week later.

The house will have a presence at both events in the form of a “Pol Roger Lodge” at Blair and a “Pol Roger Safari Bar” at Burghley. It has also signed up two of the UK’s top eventers, Harry Meade and Laura Collett as brand ambassadors, or “fizzy rascals”.
