Baroness’ son takes over at Mouton
Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, son of the late Baroness Philippine, has been confirmed as the estate’s next president.
Already a vice-president on the supervisory board of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA since 2006, de Rothschild was named president last weekend according to a statement.
The eldest son of Baroness Philippine and her first husband, the actor Jacques Sereys, Philippe is a graduate of both the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Bordeaux and Harvard Business School.
Originally an analyst in mergers and acquisitions at Lazard Frères in New York, he has also held various posts in companies specialising in energy and technology.

“Passionately” interested in education, he became a core shareholder in Cours Hattemer, a priate school in Paris, in 2012.
He is married with three children.
